Undergraduate Dependent Tuition Waivers
- This undergraduate dependent tuition waiver is available to children of full-time employees of the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), the University of Mississippi Main Campus or Satellite Centers (Ole Miss), and the IHL Executive Office.
To apply for the waiver
- To apply, complete the application for the waiver prior to each semester or term through Workday. In the Workday search bar, type 'Create Request'. Select 'All' and scroll down until you see 'Dependent Tuition Waivers for Undergraduate students.' Complete the application.
Scholarships for Children of UMMC Employees for Graduate and Professional Programs
- This scholarship is only available to children of UMMC employees who are classified as full-time, consistent with UMMC policy.
To apply for the scholarship
- To apply, complete the application for the scholarship prior to each semester or term through Workday. In the Workday search bar, type 'Create Request'. Select 'All' and scroll down until you see 'Graduate and Professional Scholarships for Children of Employees.' Complete the application.
Workforce Development Scholarship
The Workforce Development Scholarship fosters the professional development of the UMMC workforce within the boundaries of institutional mission priorities and financial resources.
Individuals in the identified programs of study are then eligible to apply, but must meet the following requirements:
- Applicant must be a full-time employee for one year prior to application and have recommendation and approval from immediate supervisor.
- Applicant must be approved by Human Resources and not be on progressive discipline program.
- Applicant must be accepted and enrolled in one of the approved programs of study.
- Employee must maintain good satisfactory academic standing.
- Employee must agree to a service commitment of (6) six months for each semester of benefit received. If employee resigns prior to completing the service commitment, repayment of the scholarship plus interest is required.
